All eyes on Addison as new softball season begins

She streaked across the sky like a comet last spring, but unlike other comets of note, we fortunately don't have to wait decades or centuries for Addison DeRoche to return.

After a freshman season for the ages, DeRoche is back for an encore as she looks to lead Cheverus' softball program, one which had never reached a regional final before her arrival, to its second consecutive Class A state title.

DeRoche and the Stags are just part of a promising local softball scene this spring and it's safe to say that fans can't wait to see what will transpire between now and June 21st.
