Falmouth the heavy favorite as new boys' lax season begins

A year ago, Falmouth's boys' lacrosse team didn't just get the monkey off its back.

In dominating longtime nemesis Cape Elizabeth in the Class A state final, the Navigators threw that monkey across I-295, halfway back to Falmouth and made a powerful statement in the process.

That as dominant as the 2024 squad was, it was a mere appetizer for what awaits this spring.

Perhaps a team for the ages.
