Welcome!

For the past quarter-century, I've had the pleasure of covering high school sports for The Forecaster.

Now, it's time for a new adventure.

A place where longform game stories will live on.

And that's not all.

This site will also be the home of feature stories, historical features on great athletes and teams of the past and a weekly newsletter.

Who knows? There might even be more down the road.

For now, you can expect my detailed stories, with in-depth comments from coaches and athletes and enhanced statistics from games involving schools from Cumberland County, including The Forecaster's traditional coverage area and a few new schools to boot.

In the fall, the focus will be on football, soccer, field hockey and volleyball. In the winter, look for in-depth coverage of basketball and ice hockey. The spring features baseball, softball and lacrosse.
